As someone who only has 1 tattoo and it's the MM balloon lol, I've tried to like STO so many times and it just doesn't do it for me. "The Best Room" & "Ground Walks" are great though, & I know there's a great 8-10 track album here somewhere. Personally, I really enjoyed TGC (everything except the artwork) & return to it often the 4 track run Walking & Running, Wooden Soilders, Transmitting/receiving, & The Sun Hasn't left, is Sooo good!

 

I personally would not call anything on their first three albums corny...

Also do not hear any resemblance of TLCW on Pistol--that's a hell of a stretch

 

Really don't think those verses are a stretch if you strip back the polish

 

I listened to STO again and I fixed it, you're welcome! Turns out it's that 3 song stretch early in the album that takes me out of the mood but the rest of the songs are pretty great!

I sincerely appreciate this attempt but I can’t shake the feeling that if you’re going with just these tracks then Ground Walks needs to be close, right?

Yes I saw them. Here’s my setlist I got from my show. They played everything on the set minus the new song so yeah about 14 songs.

Cure cover and the Pixies sound like the perfect reason to go.

 

They aren’t playing with the pixies here tomorrow which I prefer cause I only like a few songs of theirs and want the longer MM setlist.

 

yeah dude! VIP packages come with a 7 inch flexi of a new unreleased song that Issac plays during VIP set. But they’ve also played two other unreleased songs on top of that one randomly throughout the tour so far. And yeah, The Cure cover was amazing.

 

Do you happen to know the names of the other two? Gonna try to find them on Youtube. Maybe "Teeth" and "Remember Yourself" based on that setlist?

 

Would be crazy if they turned around with new music way sooner this time around. It won't happen, but it would be crazy, lol. After Jeremiah passed, I was confident The Golden Casket might be their last. And as bummed as I would be, I would totally understand and be okay with that.

Hard to overstate how much better "Remember Yourself" is than "Surfin' Your Couch."

 

Saw where someone answered the question already, but the 3rd song is called “Third Side of The Moon”. They just played it for the first time a couple of nights ago so I’m not sure if there are any videos floating out there yet. As far as a new album, someone asked at our VIP Q+A about it and he said that he is taking his time with it, but he hopes to have the new album out early next year.
