People talking about sunburns and hating the sun? SMH white people. Couldn’t be me

We have entered the good part of the year where short sleeves and shorts is comfortable wear. Sure we might get like, maybe three weeks total of 90+ and humid in Maryland and I agree with y’all that sucks… but the rest of the summer has perfect weather here so I don’t mind those couple weeks of being uncomfortably sweaty and humid. To me that’s better than 3-4 months of not being able to just put on a T shirt and go outside.

I definitely have a higher tolerance for being a little bit hot than most. 85 in the sun is still not that bad to me. Do I prefer 75 yeah but I’m still grateful for sunny summer days.

 

My wife is Italian and has darker skin to the point white people literally think she is {insert any ethnicity} and I’m soooooooo jealous of being able to go into the sun for hours and “enjoy it” without being in constant fear of being burnt badly

I remember we were in Bermuda and she said “I don’t think I’ll need much sun screen today” meanwhile if I did that in THAT sun I’d be in the hospital

 

Winter is dumb, grey and wet all the fucking time, dark way too early, wind constantly fucking up my hair and forcing me to wear uncomfortable jackets,

and the sunny days are actually the coldest cause high pressure fronts that move the clouds away also bring windy ass cold ass Arctic air down south. So waiting for that sunny day is just a tease, very rarely does it actually give you a real break from winter

 

This is the way I am. Italian/Puerto Rican. I was in my 20s before I ever had an actual sunburn which is also why I never really put any sunblock on and complain when I get burnt

 

If I could punch the sun right in his stupid face I would. Summer sucks. Being hot sucks. Long sleeves forever.

 

Yeah I was totally joking about the “smh white people” thing haha getting sunburned easily sounds like it fuckin sucks

Meanwhile I have such melanin that I one time played beach soccer in Florida for a couple hours, came home with my skin on my back literally peeling from the burns and STILL felt no pain lol

 

That’s the worst I ever got it though, I don’t wanna get skin cancer so I got better about wearing sunscreen at the beach after that

 

Nah gotta own it I’m so jealous you can be in the sun and not burn immediately hahaha it sucks!
