Kirk slot fade = elite. Big plays regularly. Very good at fooling both the safety and CB when it’s cover 3 and one of them has to guard him depending on his angle. Very good at getting behind people one on one in the open field if he has space to ad lib at the catch point.

However Kirk sideline fade = not even starting WR caliber. it’s not even just a size / physicality thing - Stefon Diggs is a smaller, not that physical WR who wins jump balls with timing and technique. Kirk falls away from the defender to the sideline the same way he would from the slot, except you don’t have the whole 18ish yards from the hash to the boundary to work with. I’ve seen Trevor get picked off like that twice because Kirk thought he could slink under the ball and toe tap, but a sideline corner actually jumps and high-points interceptions, unlike slot corners who usually play slot cause they struggle to do that.

i need to stress that i am not nor have i ever been nor will i likely ever be a member of a country club lol

 

Beads’ last company owned a bunch of country clubs and we’d go to some of the events. It was fun pretending I could ever afford that lifestyle for a bit.

 

I remember a few weeks after starting at this company, some higher-ups came through my office/warehouse and they were casually talking about their very high monthly fees to be a member of country clubs or whatever and I was so annoyed. like dudes I'm making $15 an hour, go talk about this somewhere else

 

the cheapest country clubs on long island still have $10-16k annual dues.

 

I just can't imagine paying that much for a hobby

 

God damn. The one I joined 5 years ago had a 2K annual fee and I hated spending that much.

 

The one we used to go to most was like $10k annually but it had a pool and a bunch of kids events and a formal restaurant and a pub so I can kiiiiiinda see it as a fun thing for your kids+Nice events and such but yeah, it’s stupidly expensive and very much a luxury.

 

Shinnecock Hills, arguably the best/nicest course on the island (and one of the top in the world) has a membership fee of $250,000.00.
