That's how I was too. Didn't know anything GL related but started Johns' run and became obsessed and wanted to know everything that was going on!

It'll be a bit before I read Nailbiter, still hasn't shown up at the library for order yet :(

Yeah I went back and read Hal Jordan's turn into Parralax too which was great. Guy Gardener is a painfully boring character though, haha. I like Natu and Kyle though.

Nailbiter was amazing! So many answers it's insane. And like I said the Hack/Slash crossover is great and actually really important to the story (If they wanted to be awesome they could totally bring Cassie back...please please please). It just came out today, and I know back when I pre ordered it a few months ago it said the release date was next week, so moving it up might have screwed with orders like that.

It lived up to all my excitement. The art is absolutely gorgeous, as is always the case with Del Mundo, and the story is going in a pretty exciting direction. I am all in on this title.

Shade the Changing Girl is still awesome. That art... So wonderful. Alone worth the price of admission. I'm also fascinated at the angle of being a human and, more specifically, a teenage girl as experienced by an inhuman alien being. People who aren't following this really should get the trade(s) when available.

This issue of Superman was fun. I said this already, but Gleason's work on this title is wonderful. I like what Bruce and Damian brought to this issue (and will bring to the next one).

I also got Spider-Woman, Scarlet Witch, and Green Lanterns, which I'll read later. I think I forgot to read last issue of Spider-Woman anyways.

I'm super excited for all the Young Animal trades. I read the first issue of Doom Patrol but I'm waiting for the others. Shade looks so good.

I'm reading more Black Science and the art is so wonderful. Rick Remender knows how to pick the perfect artists for his books.

Aquaman was all Mera this week and it was wonderful. Superman was a lot of fun, should be a good arc.

Just sent out an email to Brett Booth about doing a podcast episode on his current Titans run. Hoping this podcast actually happens!

    Welovefine:Marvel Comic Cover T-Shirts Program

This week had a lot of good shirt options, and they also temporarily brought back all the Mockingbird covers they've had in the program, including "Ask Me About My Feminist Agenda" from a couple weeks ago.

I ordered three shirts just now:

I've been waiting for a Spider-Woman cover that I like to be made into a shirt, so this Javier Rodriguez drawing of her and Hobgoblin is perfect. Also happy to get the "Feminist Agenda" cover shirt, which I forgot to get right as it expired, and also happy to get a $15 Scarlet Witch shirt so I don't have to get one of the old $25 ones.

Seven to Eternity is incredible. Probably my favorite floppy as far as cover art/paper quality/format/presentation/etc.

Batman was great this week too. Justice League was ok, this might be the first time since Rebirth that I didn't love it. Walking Dead was really good. Totally into the Phantom Lantern storyline, Jess was perfect this issue. Cyborg went from good art to maybe the worst I've ever seen with this issue. I laughed at their drawing of Superman.

And Outcast is finally on Amazon video! Excited to watch that.

Just read Green Lanterns, and agree on the Phantom Lantern storyline. I wonder if the ring is gonna function almost like a glorified mood ring and be hard to control as a result; I also wonder, based on Simon and Jessica's thoughts, if it'll become a major temptation for everyone like the One Ring from LOTR. (Rings everywhere!)

Also, I dunno if anyone else is reading Spider-Woman, but if the end of this week's issue is honest... Dang. Seriously, dang.

    What's Seven to Eternity?

Also is Outcast gonna be streaming anywhere?

  21. Vivatoto

Yeah I'm wondering if they're going to lean into Frank's story and him being the only wielder of the ring or turn it into some sort of free for all. I definitely think Simon will wear it again with Jess having to talk him down. I agree with it being a sort of mood ring, the page where Simon goes through the whole spectrum was great.

I doubt Outcast will stream anywhere because it's Cinemax, they probably want people to buy whatever they're doing now a days. It hasn't been on available to purchase on Itunes or Amazon until a few days ago.

I saw Seven to Eternity mentioned in here and had to check it out after I saw the cover which is amazing.

@Colby Searcy It's the new Remender book that everyone should read. First two issues were great. And I don't feel attached to any characters, which is a relief since everyone dies in his books.

Whattt those shirts are awesome. I wish all of them had an option to be art-only without the book title, those ones look much cooler usually. Definitely going to keep an eye on this site every week from now on.

Marvel's totally bounced back from All-New, All-Different. So many great books coming out. I already talked about how beautiful Avengers #1 was. Champions #2 is still going strong. Death of X #3. Moon Knight #8.

Spider-Woman 13 was devastating. Hope it's just a bait and switch.

Occupy Avengers. A new street-level Hawkeye book! Very promising start.

THE UNWORTHY THOR! Finally, Jason Aaron returns to the Odinson. Just as great as where he left off, like he never skipped a beat. Too bad this is only a mini-series. Maybe it'll lead to a second ongoing Thor book by Aaron though, the same way Nick Spencer does CA: Stever Rogers and CA: Sam Wilson. Jane Foster-Thor and Odinson are two good to share one book.
