Currently listening to the new Say Anything now. Will report back. Part of it is I was prepared to hate Say Anything more, and most of the mess of that album is lyrically which usually takes me time, vs. the FYS song just being a mess in every way.

 

There is no way that can be true

 

I skimmed through some of that Say Anything record and lyrically it’s about as bad as you can get.

I liked the one album I ever listened to of theirs for like 2 weeks

 

I feel like TWY and FYS are an interesting comparison in that TWY seems to try and push themselves in different directions to challenge themselves, whereas FYS tried to do it to make money, and it shows in the results.
