No fucking thanks

 

I’ve only drained my 401k so far but I do have 3 really cool pictures of apes so

 

Everyone I work with gets so ticked off when I say this. Ad agencies are constantly tripping over each other trying to be THE agency that is an expert in whatever shiny object rolls around, and show zero introspection when it doesn't end up being a "thing" and they have to lay people off.

 

I always thought ad agencies were a made up thing, like hit men or black holes

 

This may be a controversial opinion, but these guys look cool as shit

 

I spent nearly 17 years working for a gigantic marketing research corporation, Hicks was 100% right about this. It is absolutely soul crushing industry to work in.

Left my job in marketing a few months ago and I hope I don’t have to go back to it one day.

 

Ugh I'm registering for my first classes this summer for my masters program, and I really want to take this Political Parties class but one of the professors is a guy that teachers at Hillsdale and has a lot of articles published on Heritage. I knew this was a danger when I decided to take classes at this school instead of the Gettysburg one, but still.

His twitter seems relatively normal and not overtly conservative, but yeah. I'm sure he teaches the course with fidelity but just don't want to support folks like that as much as I can hah.

 

My son was watching TV earlier and being a young kid growing up on streaming, he hates ads with a passion and said "why are there so many ads in the world" or something like that lol
