    Not good...

Which shocks me is...if they are so fucked for money they have the Crysis and the Timesplitters names. They could have done ANYTHING with these and made some cash. Quick ports, full remasters, sequels, mobile games, small DL titles...like...how they have two pretty well established franchises and are just sitting on them as they bleed to death is so fucking surprising...

If Crytek had released a Crysis series collection on Xbox One, I'd be there day one. Those games sold very well, why don't they have a small team working on porting those to get some quick cash? Like what the fuck are they thinking?

Crytek can't do anything with Crysis since EA ended up owning the IP when they signed the publishing deal with them. Obviously EA doesn't give a shit about Crysis, so it's never going to happen .

Here's an old snippet of some language pertaining to mods:

    "RULES FOR CRYENGINE IP USAGE

You are not legally allowed to import Crysis assets into the FarCry Editor.
All Crysis IP rights belong to EA, however, you are allowed to use Crysis assets with the CryEngine 2's Crysis, Crysis: Warhead and Crysis Wars SDK only.
All FarCry assets belong to Ubisoft and as such may not be used within the Crysis Editor."

Unless they get another cash infusion, I doubt it. When Amazon paid them near 100 million last year (or whenever it was), I guess that was enough to pay them until 4 months ago. Horrible management all around at that company.

Yeah agreed. Guess we'll see if Robinson cant net them anything.

It's sad because the talent there is unreal and I really wish they'd get bought by a MS or Sony, or even EA and just start working with someone else managing/in charge.

Robinson looks dope. Has the length been revealed yet? I remember when it was announced it originally sounded like it was gonna be very short, like a tech demo, but the game seems to have expanded since then.

Exactly, I think the same thing. The Uncharted series continued to improve, but it never felt amazing like the Last of Us did. Uncharted 4 is way better than any of the previous three and I enjoyed the pace as well. There were a lot more slower parts that amped up the atmosphere to help the story. Nathan Drake is pretty generic though.

    Titanfall 2's campaign is wonderful.

Haven't sunk enough time into multiplayer to really comment one way or another, but it seems fine as well.

Nathan Drake is a stock adventure type, but it makes since that players connect with him after 4 very cinematic games.

He's a charming ass, who has flaws and is allowed to make mistakes. UC4 in particular is a very well written game.

It also helps that the cast is splendid and you're rarely alone.

Uncharted would be perfect at what it was trying to do if it wasn't a shooter IMO. If it had occasional shootouts (almost like boss fights, just a handful scattered throughout the game), but mostly was about exploring, platforming, puzzles, MGS5-esque stealth using a tranq gun or some other similar gadget, and the fisticuff meelee, it would fit the tone of the story more than Nate killing hundreds of other pirates every game and somehow being as jovial as ever instead of going shark-eyed with PTSD lol.

Just got Titanfall 2 and Gears 4 today. Gears 4, not bad. Only at the end of the first act so far.

Titanfall, holy fuck. SO much better than the first game. Logged in around 10-15 hours with the campaign so far (maybe more, lost track of time but I've been at it throughout the evening and stopped at about 4:am) and it just keeps getting better. The gameplay is what you'd expect from the original, but they add a lot of other ideas into the pot and you end up doing more of a variety of things than you might expect. Also the balance between being in pilot mode and Titan feels about right to me, never felt like I was doing one or the other for two long. It never stops being fun, never gets boring, and like Half-Life 2, they add several gameplay features and set pieces throughout the campaign that changes-up the experience throughout. And multiplayer feels more like what you'd expect, only you have more customization options for your pilot and titan. On PC the online community is pretty active right now too, virtually no wait time.

Overall, probably the best game I've played all year, highly recommend it for anyone who was a fan of the original.

Music, Gaming, Movies and Guys = Life

This year has been pretty lacking for great games, just been thinking back on what I have played and don't think I could make a solid top ten.
