I'll be there tonight again. My 3rd game of the World Series. 1-1 so far...

It's crazy to me how the Indians have been ROCK solid all year defensively and then we get to the World Series and it turns into a disaster. Literally all three games we lost this series, the Indians have pretty much given the game to the Cubs via defense or walks.

If Kluber wins tonight, it'll go down as a legendary World Series for him. I think he'll pitch well, but no way is he Cy Young sharp being it's his 3rd start against the MLB's best offense in 8 days. That worries me. Really only need 5 from him and then you turn it over to Miller.

Also, thanks to Maddon for bringing Chapman in when it's a 7-run ballgame with a do or die game tomorrow!

This day. I don't know that I can handle it. I can't stop thinking about my Grandpa. A die hard Cubs fan who lived 80+ years and never saw what I might see tonight.

My father has been a season ticket holder for 30 years. And it was becoming my biggest fear that he might not get to see a night like this too.

Please, Cubbies. Let's fly the W one more time.

yup. even though i grew up "caring" more about the packers, the cubs will always mean the most to me because of both of my grandfathers. i spent many an afternoon with them as a kid watching afternoon cubs games. if they pull it off, i'll just be an emotional wreck thinking about them.

Tomorrow I will combine my love of hotdogs with my love of baseball. If Chicago wins I'm eating a Chicago style hot dog and if Cleveland wins I'm eating a polish boy.

Anyone remember the video of them advertising an MLB game like 5-10 years ago? It shows the Cubs winning the WS and cuts to a guy playing the game, crying. That can be a reality tonight and not just something from a game!

We need more love for Cleveland in here.

It's been hard to make either team out to be the bad guy this ws. if I wasn't from Cleveland I'd be happy either way.

    Ugh, memories...

  17. Nah. Pretty reasonable
    a) money
    b) physical, emotional and mental exhaustion from last night
    c) lingering Cleveland pessimism

But I ultimately agree with both of you, which is why I'm about to head downtown. Will I survive? Only time will tell.

Cleveland's game to lose tonight with the pitching onslaught that awaits Cubs batters. Our best chance is to go up big early like last night and I doubt that happens. Regardless of result, I'm happy to have it come to an end. Too much stress the last couple weeks haha.

Man this game has a special meaning to me. I grew up a Cleveland sports fan with the exception of baseball, where I followed two teams.

I've been a Cubs diehard since I was 4. The Indians have been a close second. I was heartbroken when they lost to the Braves in '95 and even more so in '97 when Jose Mesa blew game 7 in the 9th inning. I remember all too well the Bartman incident in 2003.

My heart is torn with this series. I am rooting for the Cubbies while at the same time not wanting to see the Tribe lose another World Series. Couldn't have asked for a better series. Hoping for a great game 7.
