Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Absolutely insane. Poch lost one single game out of their last 15 and improved their team by 20 points from last season.

    chelsea are comical.

  2. This is not me being a hater, and I’m not trying to say he isn’t good, but was Ben White really the best RB this year?

  3. I’d also put Gvardiol over Udogie if we’re considering him a LB

  4. Actually, Antonee Robinson deserves a shout for best LB this year. He was very good.

Chelsea are a hilarious football club. I hope Boehly never changes.

I’m obvs biased but I genuinely think so.

Guy played through an injury for two months as our only fit fullback, while putting in 8 & 9 out of 10 performances in almost every game this season.

Unreal on the ball, progressive passing, rarely looks tired, defensively he rarely gets beaten, always reliable. He’s criminally under appreciated.

  7. I’m also struggling to think of which RB would be more deserving. Walker? Meh. So it makes sense.

  9. Tottenham’s backline has me very excited for the future. VDV and Romero in year two of their partnership should be very good. They complement each other so well. Fit the system almost perfectly. Porro and Udogie are full of potential, but both still have some work to do. Porro has improved some defensively, but need to see some more growth there. Udogie surprised me with how well he defended this year. He held his own against some elite wingers. He just gets a little careless with the ball at times. Clean that up and he’ll be the best LB in the league.

And we obviously need some depth across the line. Dragusin looked solid in the last few games of the season. He looked more confident with the ball at his feet than when he first arrived. Outside of him, there is no depth. Emerson will be sold. Davies likely stays unless we find another LB/LCB to replace him. Calafori would be perfect but I don’t think we’ll be able to pry him out of Italy.

I’m so ready for a Chelsea documentary documenting everything that’s happened since Toddy arrived.

Would be hilarious if collectively every single manager worth a damn decides Chelsea is a poisoned well and doesn’t even consider the role.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Completely astonished by that Chelsea news. I was a bit worried that Poch had got them to turn a corner and that with a stable summer, they might well be a force again next season. Obviously the first half of the season was fairly shit (but look at the situation the ownership had created...), but the back half was top 4 form.

Hopefully Poch makes a more sensible decision with his next move.

Humble brag, just spent the afternoon playing on the Portman Road pitch in a staff v staff game. Turns out fitness is something that doesn't come naturally to me.
