I feel like the delay is cuz the lineup isn’t up to their standards and they are trying to improve it or they have some actual big reunion they are working through all the details to get them signed on.

 

I really don’t think there is any delay. This is still in the normal range for the announcement. And when they have had issues in the past, they have just gone radio silent, not continuing to antagonize people on twitter.

 

Uhm, they can release part of the lineup now and part later when they have single day schedules out.. they've done that in the past.. they also like to torture us, they've even admitted it

 

The lineup has always come in may expect one year and that year was April. So it coming out in June would be considered a delay.

 

June is 10 days away... lineup is coming out before June

 

But there is still a week and a half of May.

“We're not doing it just to be a tease. We just have work to do before we're ready to announce. We are a small team (about 10 people) and we are doing our best. I'm afraid to give you an exact date in case things change between now and then, however, at this point, we are on track for early June.”

 

Weird to assume the “delay” (which it’s not a delay) is because “the lineup sucks” (which is speculation)

Yeah, I don’t buy that they are responding to emails about when the lineup is coming out. Why would they even bother doing that?

 

There’s a screenshot I posted above. Whether it’s real or not I can’t say though. Apparently an autistic person has been fretting over the lineup release for six days now and sent them an email and got this as a response.

The full email screenshot shouldn’t be posted. Knowing the back story of why they emailed them is sad. That’s why it’s a normal response

 

Rosie Tucker just announced a one off show in Champaign on September 20, so I’d put them as likely. They played Chicago in early May, have a new album out, are signed to Epitaph, based in Los Angeles (so coming to the Midwest for one show does not make sense) and will be in the same state that weekend.

 

I didn’t even think about this being the same weekend as Pygmalion Fest now.
