It’s under consideration, we’re gonna be in town that saturday (for me to go see Aaron West) then spend the next couple of nights in STL before driving back to OKC

staying in KC Friday night but unfortunately the Royals will be in Texas playing the rangers

 

That is a long time to spend in St. Louis my good sir unless you have family here lol

I mean you can fill 3 days in St. Louis with shit to do and I’m happy to help haha but it’s much more of a “great place to live” than “cool place to visit”

Well really we’ll only need stuff to do Sunday, we won’t get there til Saturday afternoon and we’ll probably leave earlyish Monday, with the 8 hour drive back and all

 

Yeah I saw cheapest tickets were like $18 but would it be worth it to pay more for better seats? Probably

 

ok well my best advice is don’t go to the arch

 

300s behind home plate is a hack imo. Not really thaaat high above the field, great view of downtown, almost always shaded

 

My wife is telling me to be nicer because I’m cursing out Tyler Duffey for trying to ruin the royals 8th inning lead

No because a guy I knew in college named Tyler Duffy was really mean to me once

Ok in all seriousness they have a new visitors center that includes a better video about the history and how it was built. In my (jaded) opinion, that is cooler than the actual trip up to the top in the rickety death trap cars to peer out of tiny ass windows. Especially if you’re at all a nerd for civil engineering/infrastructure/etc. But I’ve been up in it a buncha times since I was like 4 or 5 so ymmv

 

The National Blues Museum isn’t terribly far from the stadium if you wanna get your music history on

 

If you’re sophisticated or want to try to be the art museum punches above its weight for a city this size and is free so no downside. Then just walk around forest park some while you’re there

 

Cahokia mounds just across the river is awesome
