Not to burst any bubbles, but there’s a handful of unannounced bands for their LA final show. It could be they’re announcing more bands for that tomorrow

 

I’ll believe Paramore’s on the lineup when I see it. But if they are, Riot has to do the decent thing and bring Set Your Goals out of retirement so we can get The Few That Remain ft Hayley Williams

 

But I mean, I really really doubt they are waiting until after Memorial Day to announce at least part of the lineup..

 

But I don’t think they even teased the announcement for the first wave of that lineup. Not sure why they would then tease the announcement for the final bands. But I am also doing some wishful thinking here.

Edit: If anything besides Riot Fest, maybe they are announcing the album plays for the whole tour or something? Can’t think of many other things they would tease a day beforehand.

Fall Out Boy and Beck are my guesses on the other two headliners.

 

I mean, if the lineup is out tomorrow, then my theory was correct…

 

With a response like this i definitely feel like it’s close

 

the literal only thing i miss about twitter.

 

Riot Fest twitter is battling a bot when they could be giving us the lineup.

 

My guesses for the two other headliners are No Doubt and The Killers playing Hot Fuss.

 

The Killers are playing Lolla

I don’t know that it’s Riot or not but… It’s curious that they didn’t hint at the country or city. OR that the Punk in Drublic account didn’t post something similar.

So I don’t think it’s related to existing tour dates or whatever. So… Who knows haha.

 

Where is this Hole stuff coming from? She was at a Green Day concert some months back and said Hole might be coming back.. give me a few beers and I'll yell some bullshit on a mic at a Green Day concert too.. By now, she'd at least be recruiting old or new members and I've heard nothing


and if you want a dark horse pick.. Eminem.. he's performing in Austin later this year, so it's not a zero chance.. he played Warped in 1999, maybe he'll take a pay cut to show he still has a alt hip hop ethos or something to promote his next album that Dre is producing

 

Someone, and this could have been complete BS, had said she said Hole were booked for some shows this year. Now, I couldn’t pinpoint exactly when it was said so that’s why I say it could be completely false.

 

Valid.. although if Riot got Hole, they should have announced it early.. it's not MCR or Misfits, but it's a big enough story on it's own I think

 

I’m switching beck or Fob with Paramore

 

I could actually see Paramore play. They didn’t hit Chicago last summer with whatever happened with Lolla and then had that hastily scheduled Milwaukee show.

 

selfishly if I could have a choice it would be Paramore over both and FOB would be the other night. But I have to be honest and think I’m getting Beck.

 

I’m pretty sure Greg said that Bad Religion would see us very soon. But nothing specific so who knows.

 

Thinking on it more… They could announce just NOFX (and the other bands on their stage?) today and announce the day for the rest of the line-up drop.

 

They could announce the teaser early and the lineup in the evening.
