Lead singer said they weren't playing Riot months ago (may have been a reply on Twitter)

 

Someone on the subreddit - yeah, I know - noticed they recently added a bunch of videos including Distillers, The Hives, Paramore, Joan Jett, and Coheed.

 

Im surprised Harms Way has never played Riot, considering they are from Chicago

 

They said that was on the “kids” one though that also has videos from bands like Nirvana. Could be something but I’m not counting my chickens on that one.

 

it’s funny cause even though they have never played they have sold merch for Riot every year.

 

I don’t take anyone seriously when stating things anyway.

 

I think this is just someone's pipe dream

 

Coheed are playing Rosemont in August

I’m not expecting an announcement until people start calling the Twitter account “unprofessional.”

The taunting has ramped up but yet to see a single person demand the social media person be fired for their rudeness.

 

If the lineup comes out Wednesday, it's possible they don't hint anything until tomorrow

I feel like if Coheed is on the fest (which I doubt) then it would have to be an album play or something, right?

Edit: also, they did come out with a new song/video recently so that could be that.

 

I hope Coheed plays Riot but in 2025, so they can do an album play for Good Apollo Vol I 20th anniversary

 

NoFX says they have a special announcement tomorrow. And used the hashtag nofxfinaltour. So I’m crossing my fingers.

Aren't Saves the Day and Senses Fail announcing something as well

 

I could be wrong, but I feel like they have made most of the announcements for their other shows and also didn’t announce before hand that they would be announcing those lineups. So that makes me feel like it has to be announcing their Chicago (Riot Fest) date.

 

They are! Is it happening? Or is the universe just trolling us?!

 

yeah i could see them being on there as well for the album plays.
