And the best part for Charlie, even though he actually was ready to turn on her, he never needs to reveal that now, he didn't have to burn the bridge and he still looks loyal

 

If Charlie makes it to the end there’s nobody left who would even stand a chance against him. Which is why I think they’re going to get him out now lol

Ben/Liz/Kenzie final 3 with Kenzie winning is my prediction

 

Maria had a real “I’m in danger” look after the votes were read

 

I'd be fine with this. After a Q win is no longer in the cards, I'll go back to a Kenzie pick.

Yeah I think I’m locking in Kenzie as my pick as well. It sort of feels like a 43 situation, where Jesse and Karla (in this case Charlie and Maria) were looking like much stronger choices heading into the final 5 but they both went out before making it to the final.

 

The editing of reactions was perfect for the vote.

But Q ALWAYS need to the play the idol there. Like c’mon man you’ve had votes thrown at you.

 

I'd be fine with this but I think it's unlikely at this point. Barring something really unforeseen, the finale should go:

Charlie or Maria at 5

The remaining Charlie or Maria goes into firemaking. They have shown Liz focusing on fire a lot lately, so it might be her.

Firemaking really throws a wrench in getting to a Liz/Ben/Kenzie FTC, because I don't know which of those three can beat Charlie/Maria in fire.

Kenzie was an okay winner imo but a distant third best option going into the finale. Her own game looked much better pre-merge imo (She looked like the only Yanu member who was even remotely competent to have a chance). She actually had to admit that she was pulled into votes post-merge at final tribal, and iirc was left out of the Tiffany blindside after she couldn’t pull that blindside together herself. She whiffed on what was really her only attempt at a big move.

I also don’t like how she treated Jess (and allowed her to be treated by the other members of Yanu) when she herself was quite literally not even a factor in those early challenges because her own performance was pathetic.

I have no way of knowing this but I also hated her sitting there and saying she’s a business owner who started a business so other people could work and that she makes no money. Yeah, okay.

 

Also lol one of the pod save america guys on the preview for next season

 

Maria did a villain arc speedrun in the last three episodes. Overall Kenzie is a deserving winner but the aftershow was rough. Charlie was clearly still processing everything.

 

Yeah Maria made three huge WTF choices in the last few episodes that tanked her social and strategic game, and made her very unlikeable. I think Kenzie and Charlie equally deserved it for different reasons and I definitely felt bad for Charlie, a lot to process for sure, especially knowing Maria could have at least got him the tie

 

liz was so unlikable. hilariously bad and delusional.

 

Also all of the little underhanded comments from Maria about how she was winning comps and shit were annoying me. I typically don’t mind that kind of banter bc it’s fun, but it adds onto the arc that she went full villain.

Ben confirmed he would have voted Charlie in the tie, so Maria swayed the result because she couldn’t live with the fact she whiffed on her shot at Charlie.
