I’ve been putting off making backspacers for my Kallax because I assumed it would be a whole process with wood, plastic, or some other material and I haven't had the time. Finally had a free weekend and began researching what others have used, only to find out that people have been using freaking pool noodles. So I went to Target and for $3 and roughly an hour of work, I now I have backspacers!

 

I gave up on the DIY backspacer project. Instead, I've been waiting 2 months for Turntable Revival to ship my backspacers. I think(?) I'm getting closer. Hate having my collection all over the living room. Can't wait to organize it all.

 

But do you have Backspacer?

 

as in cutting the lengh of each shelf, and then splicing the noodle across the length and just attaching it to the back end of the shelf?

I have those. They’re pretty decent, but yeah, they took forever and a day to arrive.

 

Yeah, that’s correct! I cut the noodles to be a little over the width of each shelf so it fit snuggly too. I used command strips because that’s what I had lying around and didn’t want to damage it in case the noodles didn’t work out.

Well that was a quick and easy purchase. £50 but that SmartPunk variant is perfection

They’ve also got a beautiful variant of Burn Piano Island Burn if anyone’s not got that yet

 

I figured Epitaph would have a copy. I feel the Smartpunk variant is more fitting. Plus it's limited to 300.

Figured this wasn't going to be cheap but like @scottlechowicz said this has been a white whale for ages!

I'd love to see a remastered pressing for March on Electric Children.

 

I got the SmartPunk variant. The Epitaph version is cool, but I want that pink in the record.

The Indie retailer variant also looks awesome, I might try to get that one too because I’ve got a problem.
