Makes sense. It’s AEW’s Vancouver Debut and Vancouver is a really hot market for wrestling right now. NEW regularly draws crowds of 800+ for their events and AEW drew more than 6000 for the show tonight. The best Collision attendance in a long time.

I haven't watched the backhalf of this season of DSOTR, but I watched the Black Saturday finale. Wow. This story would make an incredible Succession style prestige boardroom drama.

Like a lot of people online are saying this felt like an old school throwback Dark Side episode that could have been on the first few seasons. Probably the best one they've done since season 3.

I like how they tie it together in the end with the Endeavor merger being the final move in Vince's grand plan for the complete corporatization of wrestling that started that day in 1984.

I have had a few "too sweeted a random person in a BC shirt I saw in the wild" moments. Especially when it happens when you're with non-wrestling fans it makes you feel like you're in a secret club or something. Wrestling brings people together.

 

My wife watches occasionally but she had absolutely fucking no idea what was going on. My son thought it was the coolest shit in the world

 

It was a little weird having Ole Anderson basically framed as the babyface to Vince's heel in this Dark Side finale, considering all the stories of that guy being a gigantic asshole lol

 

Having a nice little Sunday morning DVR viewing of the best weekly wrestling program (collision) and Christopher Daniels has me fired up from a promo like it’s 2005 all over again

 

I went to a concert on Friday and there was a guy wearing a Shimmer hat. I had to say something, it was way too cool that I had to.

 

Damn now I feel like i should wear my New Japan shirt out more often to signal other wrestling fans

 

I got too sweeted once while wearing a WWE AJ shirt out in public

 

Now that i think of it did wear my old PWG shirt I don't have anymore to an NXT house show once, and I ran into Rich Swann while he was hanging out in the concession area, and he complimented me on it, and I did Too Sweet him.

Though I did immediately feel like a dorky mark for doing that afterwords lol
