I still think it won't be a full match

 

Goldberg's jackhammers were bad even in his first stint with WWE. And to be fair, I couldn't really judge the spear because Raw's shaky cam on that spot was horrible.

 

The jackhammer looked alright when they replayed it but he hardly held him up, pretty obvious he's not in shape yet and it's disappointing they didn't give him more time. Whatevs, we all know it'll suck. My 6yr old self is just sad.

 

The jackhammer was decent considering it was Rusev he was holding up. Isn't Rusev a good 15 lbs or so heavier than Lesnar?

 

I don't know if he needed more time. we all knew this match was happening 4+ months ago.

 

We did? Well it seems like he didn't start training till recently, which is obviously an awful idea. I wouldn't be surprised if they both got hurt.

 

On a roundabout kinda way. sure,it was only confirmed about two weeks ago, but the rumors were there with 2k17.

 

if i recall Goldberg has been asked about it a lot in the 3 or so months leading up to it - using a Lesnar shirt to blow his nose and other stuff which makes me think something was already getting set up. if that is the case, Goldberg has no reason to be this out of ring shape / sore after 20 seconds where he did essentially nothing but stand there (i.e. took no bumps to his knees / legs / body)

they should have it start like Rock vs Lesnar at Summerslam. have whichever one enters last (which will be Goldberg which means no rush because of his entrance) rush the ring and get started. no waste of time, make the most of the 5 minutes of contact between the 10 minutes of rest.

and because this is a Lesnar match - guaranteed table spot so he and / or Goldberg can rest for a half hour?

 

There's always rumors, like ryback vs Goldberg was a real rumor for awhile too... until it's signed in paper that you're paying me to wrestle I wouldn't get in a gym either. On top of it you're friggin 49 so obviously it's gonna take longer and more work. Survivor surrs

 

so who do we think Lesnar faces at Mania?

i imagine they want to have him there, but they've done a terrible job of building anyone to even be possibly formidable for him to face. unless they're going to turn to Strowman which seems like a huge risk with how green he is and how bad Lesnar works matches.

could've - and maybe still could - have something with Rusev, but this company hasn't really used Rusev correctly since his loss to Cena at Mania a few years ago. unless they go the Nakamura / Joe route like has been discussed by having them in the Rumble match and maybe eliminate Lesnar. or just a random "okay this is it" like Summerslam with Randy.

also, with Minny having a new stadium i'd imagine Vince wants in on that for a Mania, and would guess that would be Lesnar's final match with Mania at home if they can book it within the next 2-3 years.

 

Hopefully no one. Ready for that big idiot to leave already.

 

crowds and Vince loves him though. the only one that says he'll be done is likely Brock himself. just like last time. figure it's only a matter of time before he gets sick of it. but hey, sounds like shitloads of money for maybe 8-10 appearances a year? hard to say no to that.

I don't think we see Shinsuke for a long time. he hasn't even defended his belt yet. lol

 

Yeah, Shinsuke won't be up until probably after Mania if I had to guess. Way too many injuries in NXT now to bring their top draw up.

I really hope that Shane/Lesnar doesn't end up being a thing.

 

I was gonna say AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar for mania. with aj going over

In a no brand split situation that would be my dream scenario. I'd love to use a match like that to really put it out there that AJ Styles is the shit.

 

I think Joe is their best way to get some really good heel heat going. he's doing an amazing job right now.

 

I'm not against Samoa Joe either. I just think it's time that Lesnar is back in the title picture.

 

Its gonna be Shane. I mean, the Randy Orton fight made no sense from a build perspective. Nor does Goldberg. Nor does likely anyone on the actual RAW roster. So...the only person with a logical beef is Shane. I imagine they'll even set it up after the Goldberg match with another Shane appearance...or a backstage segment or something.

And I cant see them having Brock do the job until he's done with them, which wont be until next years Mania. I think he should put over someone who is gonna be a top person with the company for 5+ years. Samoa Joe is just simply not that. Nor is Shinsuke, etc. Strouman might be that by then. Just as likely, I could see it being Big Cass or someone in that mold.

 

First time watching SD in a while, Ambrose bulk up or is it just me?

 

That was the strongest styles has looked in a long time. Also is dean normally that much taller than him? Never noticed it

 

So Orton is fucking with the Wyatts? Why?
More importantly, why does Kane have a storyline?

Carmella is cutting a WAY better promo than anyone is cutting on RAW right now. Its like Smackdown is bizzaro world where everyone suddenly becomes good

 

That baron Corbin promo makes him look cool, way cooler and better than he actually is
