I do love when Zelda weirdly veers into horror.

Majora's Mask has the most memorable "vibes" in maybe all of video games for sure

also that awesome scene in Twilight Princess when Ilyas fall from the sky upside down laughing

cool shit peeks through the cracks every now and then accidentally, they just never run with it

Love the vibes of MM, but I just despise anything that's time-based so I've avoided playing it.

Yeah I don't like the time stuff in MM either tbh. I feel like being on the clock takes away a bit from the freedom of exploration that made OoT at the time feel so special.

Right after I said that, I did decide to check out MM on 3DS. Got to the part where I have to find the shard of the great fairy and saved at the first owl behind clock tower.

Just gotta say, it's pretty bullshit that you can't just save whenever you want haha.

Plays great on 3DS tho. Way better graphics than the original and nice to have a free camera

I think MM is wonderful and it's possibly one of the only games with a time mechanic that does it in an interesting and fun way for me

The clock was never an issue for me in MM. as long as you slow it down, you should have plenty of time.

Depends on the vibe I want. If I want comfy, relaxing vibes I’ll agree with Link’s Awakening (remake).

If I want the vibes of exploring and adventuring then I’ll go with BotW.

If I want vibes of eerie and weird I’ll go with TP

Listen, what you do in the bathroom is your business, but I don't think TP's meant to be used like that.

Link's Awakening was literally directly inspired by Twin Peaks. There is definitely a unique subtle underlying eerie existential vibe that no other Zelda game really has.

Link’s Awakening Remake bangs so hard. Wish they would give Link Between Worlds a remake treatment

I want an Oracle of Seasons/Ages remake. I tried playing Seasons on switch online and it's just really dated.

I recently tried giving the Skyward Sword remaster a go again and man I dunno if I can finish this. Almost everything in this game being tailored around the bad controls is just so lame. "Gimmicky" is the main word i would use to describe this game.

That team going from that to BOTW has to be like the biggest glowup in video game history.

Master sword replica releasing this September

"The Legend of Zelda Master Sword" is now available on PROPLICA. With a total length of approximately 105cm, it has an impressive shape that gives off an overwhelming presence. Contains 8 songs from the "The Legend of Zelda" series. It also has built-in button actions and vibration gimmicks.

Pretty cool. I was waiting to get a master sword replica to see how this one turned out. Since it isn't an actual sword and has sound effects and stuff I'll pass and get one off of etsy.
