I’ve listened to this album at least once every day since it came out, tired of not at least having a thread for it around here. Pretty accessible if soul isn’t your thing, and still very enjoyable if it is. Gonna be addicted to this for a minute

 

This album has so many bops. The flute in “Bad News” gives me major Marvin Gaye vibes

Seeing as this wasn’t a very popular thread, I’m not gonna bother with one for the new record lol. But it comes out 6/28 and the singles have been great

 

His last album was good but didn’t have a lot of staying power for me. Looking forward to checking the new one out once it drops

 

Yeah - it was in my top 5 that year, but I really have not come to it much since then. Spun the hell out of it in ‘21 but have just not been super in the mood for stuff like this in a while
