The only thing that makes it difficult to go back to is some of those minor refinements they added in 4 and underground, like with flatland tricks and spine transferring. It is an absolute shame we never got THPS3 DLC for THPS 1+2.

 

The servers are still up on Xbox 360. Played a game of graffiti with some guy in Brazil just a few weeks ago.

 

I play THPS 1+2 remastered from time to time but those games are so short are pretty easy to beat so it gets boring after a while and create a park leaves a lot to be desired. I had THPS 3 and 4 on my deck but the roms weren’t super solid. The American wasteland Rom I had was unplayable. But I did beat underground 2 on my deck last fall.

 

if you install Lutris on your Deck, you can use the PC version of THPS4 and THUG and they play incredible and look amazing. The only slightly annoying thing is that you’ll have to manually map the controls.

That’s the problem I had with some of the gamecube roms but I could go and pick a community layout but sometimes it would totally fuck my control scheme and I’d give up

Hmm I feel like you gotta mess with some settings, I have THPS 3 and American Wasteland running great on my Odin 2. Feel like a steam deck should have more power than an android handheld heh
