what happens when I support a game Xbox makes and it rules and then they decide to can that studio

 

I definitely just use Gamepass as a rental and then buy things I like, I really don’t like losing games as they shift around so that works well

Phil Spencer really sucks for all this as do all the other rich guys pulling the same shit in businesses. The endgame of capitalism etc etc

 

Game pass is great (for now)

and also seems to be a major reason for lack of sales they keep touting

 

I’m reading Press Reset right now and the story behind 2K’s XCOM game is fucking ridiculous how did this make it out the door. The shooter one not the faraxis titles

 

You give it a proper burial. Games get canned all the time, even ones that make it out of the gate.

 

I gave up on gamepass when I got my ps5 because ps plus is just as good in my opinion especially if you shell out for premium and have access to the classics catalog. I’ve found it to be more than worth it and if I ever want to buy a game I’ve played on ps5 it’s pretty easy. I’ve had a problem of buying game on steam that I had played on gamepass and losing all my progress. and you couldn’t pay me to buy a game on the Xbox pc store. Plus no gamepass on steam deck is a huge negative I’d rather buy on steam for deck access depending on the title. Especially since I keep a 150+ game wishlist on steam at all times and snag things for ridiculously cheap when I have the money since I get sale notifications

 

If PS Plus went crazy with the content for the classic tiers, it be goated over Xbox.

 

Honestly they should just do one tier. That and day one games (when they eventually have them.) Then we are on par with Gamepass. I’ll check out the games each month but it’s definitely a passive thing.

 

The PS Plus version is definitely not as good as OG Game Pass. Some highlights for sure on there but the lack of first party stuff (especially the older titles from Sony’s catalog) and the choice of games overall pales in comparison. It could be better but Sony is content with where it is.

In what is ridiculously poor and awful timing, Hi-Fi Rush is one of the games in Humble Monthly this month.

Anyway, I have a key for that for whoever wants it, as well as keys for Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Steelrising, Loddlenaut, and Mediterranea Inferno. Hit me up!

 

I work at the fucking place and have never heard the game mentioned if that gives anyone an idea

I want to play Hi-Fi Rush, but didn’t realize it was only 11.99 for the humble monthly. Kinda want all the games.

 

It's honestly a really good deal! It would work out better for me if I would just slow my roll a bit, but alas, I have a condition.
