There was such immense potential for the prequels. I’ve grown to appreciate 1 and 3. The second half of 2 is okay. That first hour is rough.

yup, that's exactly it. my hometown is the world headquarters of the Assemblies of God, so tons of millennial seminary graduates somehow feel compelled to still plant hip, modern-looking churches out there, despite the fact that a ton of them shut down.

 

I haven't been inside a church in so long. There's one Viet church where my parents had a lot of connections to the community so when I was little they'd drag me there once a year around Christmas time and I felt so out of place and didn't know anyone there or any of the Bible

My parents had a friend who had a bootleg VHS copy of Phantom Menace when it was still in theaters. That’s how I first saw it…

It was the newest version. Also had more of the pod race.

 

was there less of the podrace scene in the original release?

 

I haven’t bothered to compare directly, but that’s what I’ve read. It’s not the full race, as in it’s not all of the deleted scenes from it. But it’s extended.

 

Episode 1 will always hold a soft spot in my heart because I saw it like 7 times in the theater. We were going through some family issues at the time and my mom would take me to see it every weekend just to get me out of the house

 

If I remember correctly there’s more in to the pre-race and more cuts to Kitster and stuff on the sidelines, but I think it’s the same actual race footage.

I watched both Tales and loved them, so now I want to do a full watch of the Clone Wars. I have seen a bunch of random episodes and the movie, just not the entire thing. I kind of want to find a guide and watch it in chronological order.

I remember getting to see this opening night when it came out because a friend of mine had an extra ticket and invited me. Then my brother went to NYC right after it came out and brought home a bootleg copy from a guy on the street and I watched that thing so many times.

Also, the teaser at the end for The Acolyte was awesome and got me more pumped than I already was

Ok yeah looks like it's only chronologically weird the first 3 seasons, but straightens out the last 4.
