The DKC music triggered me a little ngl. I felt like I was about to die 12 times before I was able to beat a stage.

It’s been 7 years since I’ve been to Universal Hollywood and I’m yearning to go back so I can experience all the Mario stuff.

I’ve never been to Universal Orlando but I hope to someday. Although, a giant Nickelodeon Studios-sized hole will be in my heart the entire time when I finally go

My wife and I were talking about potentially going back early next year or late this year. But if it’s supposed to be a ghost town later next year…

It is so insane that WDW is planning on opening back up RnRC in June after months long refurb and still keeping the Aerosmith theme. It's gonna be 2034 and that ride is still going to be themed after a band that hasn't been culturally relevant since the movie Armageddon came out in 1998.

Just switching out the visual media in queue, the soundtrack, and some of the signage, and replacing it with another band or something is not a huge gigantic undertaking...

Sounds like the ride system is in rough shape. If anything I think they’d gut the whole thing but they need more capacity before they do that.

My practical solution to this: RnRC starring Queen. Disney owns the rights to Queen's music catalogue. Disney owns the rights to the very successful Oscar winning Queen biopic from a few years ago. Queen is practically a Disney IP. Also compared to Aerosmith, Queen's music is timeless, liked by multiple generations, and is not stale.

Also they can sell a whole bunch of park exclusive Queen merch.

If we are getting into fantasy armchair imagineering: I have thought before about how Disney can integrate the acquired 20th Century stuff into the parks. I have had what I think is a solid idea for a themed land that can use a bunch of different family friendly 20th Century IPs in one area and have it make thematic sense

Museum District - themed after an urban New York/Chicago museum district. With that theme you can put in a Night at the Museum attraction, an Ice Age attraction, you could do Home Alone themed stuff during Christmas time. You could even find a way to throw in Anastasia in there if you wanted with that.

A Night at the Museum ride without Robin Williams would make me far too sad. But it would be awesome, especially on a Hogwarts style track experience.

I also think they could pull off including some Fox animation IPs. A Bob’s Burgers attraction would be fantastic. Maybe get The Simpsons once their contract with Universal is finished

Jenny's channel has been dormant for over a year since her Evermore video, and then today suddenly pops up with a 4 hour video about the rise and fall of the Galactic Starcruiser

Ok so I watched the entire Jenny video. In the end she hits the nail on the head, Starcruiser was likely the result of a Disney executive internally saying "hey you know all the coolest ideas for Galaxy's Edge we were originally planning to give to guests in the parks and touted during our initial announcement? What if we just lock those away in a separate building and paywall them like it's physical DLC that costs 6 grand?"
