Reminder that the final episode of The Bad Batch drops in 3.5 hours.

good finale, I'm satisfied with it. didn't go quite as hard as the s2 one did though which surprised me. I think that season was by far the best but this was still solid

I’m not sure what I was hoping for, but I don’t think I was super satisfied with this ending.

Bad Batch ended much happier than I was expecting. Watching old man Hunter send his daughter off was happy sad though. Overall very happy with the series, especially as I had no interest in it when it was first announced but it turned into one of the best Star Wars shows

yeah, Bad Batch were one of my least favorite Clone Wars side groups, but by the end of this show, they’re almost to Rebels level for how much I care about this crew.

IMG_6686.jpeg My wife and I visited the Lucas Film offices today in San Francisco. It was just a lobby with some statues and stuff. No tours or gift shop, feels like a missed opportunity.

played some Star Wars Unlimited at our local game store. 10% off all Star Wars products, 15% off if you said a secret phrase at checkout ("and now, Young Skywalker, you will die"). we walked away with a white double-wide deck box ("deck pod") to hold a couple of our decks.

it's honestly a really fun time. my partner had been playing Magic The Gathering for over 20 years (i'm still relatively new to TCGs), and he called it one of the best play experiences he's ever had, with our first game being "very refreshing". it's also IP we both have lots of love for. and aside from high resale prices for some rare singles and some delays in reprints (which are nowhere near as bad as some other TCG manufacturers), it seems as though they're trying to make sure it's a compelling experience for everyone, where you don't have to funnel money into overpriced cards or particular decks to have some sort of advantage. if you have a local game store that's demoing it, definitely check it out.

I found the Morgan episodes to be pretty lacking for me. I don’t find myself caring any differently or more for the character. Meh.

Barris episodes were better. Would have liked to see more with her, even if just expanded on these three stories.
