Isn't it only venues that livenation own that are included in the $25 thing?

Usually the full list of shows in a market is up like 2 days before

I've gotten Sad Summer tickets in Philly from this more than once, and that venue (The Mann Center) is owned by the city, but Ticketmaster does most if not all of their ticketing

    Ah, true

Very possible they promoted the show and didn't own the venue - I think I've seen a few cases of those in the sale in the past

So I’d basically consider the Mann a live nation venue, they took over doing most of the booking for them. They don’t own it, the city does and still does use it for graduations, community nights, etc but most of the concerts are booked by live nation. That was a pandemic thing.

It varies regionally based on how well the Livenation shows are selling (I assume). The shows from last year's sale in my market sucked.

Damn this is really sad. I went to the show the next day and I could tell the vibes were kind of off with him. And he was extra cautious it seemed when it came to crowd surfers/dives. Makes sense now

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I just bought a ticket using ticketweb for the first time in maybe several years. As much as I hate Ticketmaster, at least the process of getting a ticket and having in on your phone is a hell of a lot easier than having to manually do everything on ticketweb

The fact that Ticketmaster owns TicketWeb, yet TicketWeb doesn’t have an app, infuriates me.

I guess Ticketmaster really is a monopoly. Next you're gonna tell me they own Dice and AXS too, huh?

Garden Amp? I think they use Ticketweb IIRC, just used them last night and I had to pull up a QR code from email to get in.

Yep it was that venue. I wasn’t given a QR code, but a PDF of a print-out ticket LOL

Just went back and checked because I wasn’t sure who they used, but I went to a wrestling show there last night and it was Ticketweb with a QR to scan. Wonder if they’re doing print outs to prevent resale for those side shows.

Gives me bad WWWY flashbacks. I drove 6 hours to Vegas, parked and saw it was cancelled- and immediately drove back home another 6 hours

  19. Such flashbacks. But this show was just one day right? Brutal

Went to Bayside, Finch, and Armor For Sleep last night. Place was nearly sold out, but half empty til right before Bayside went on. Like 4 fights within the first 8 songs.

I remember first seeing them live in 2007? 2008? At warped tour and there were an absolute ton of college bros starting fights and being like where did this come from? And every time I have seen them since then I can never figure out the connection between them and their giant jock/jersey shore bro fan base? That like no other band of the genre has. It’s literally the weirdest thing on the planet.

    Things have changed.

Consistently the worst, meanest fanbase I've encountered, from opening sets to headliners. Making fun of the fans of headlining bands to their faces to starting fights over crowd position. Show after show.

Bayside is my favorite band with the worst fans. They're pretty bad in Chicago. I'll never forget this guy heckling Balance and Composure and being so rude.

Ha I had no idea this was a reoccurring thing. At the Starland show last month there was this one asshole who was trying to start a fight with literally everyone around him during AFS and Finch. I think security kicked him out before Bayside started.
