I haven't even hit a McDonalds drive through in well over a year but KFC is the one that truly shocked me with their prices. Insane

I only get fast food if they have an insane app deal (mainly Arbys and Taco Bell)

 

I just checked and right now on Grubhub a 12 piece bucket family meal with 3 sides is $42. A 16 piece is $55.

I remember when I worked at KFC in high school I had to work Easter Sunday, and I naively thought "ok it's a holiday, nobody is going to want to eat KFC on a holiday! Today is gonna be so easy!" I have never been humbled so hard in my life...

ive never had lady grey. i like earl grey but afaik chai is king of the black teas imo. lapsang souchong in second.

 

Panera prices shocked me recently, granted they've always been overpriced. I went with my daughter recently and got an awful chicken sandwich that came with a bag of chips, a kids mac and cheese, and 2 drinks and it was like $35 or some shit

In n Out is cheaper to feed my family than a lot of fast food restaurants. That blew me away when I realized it.

 

A 6 inch subway sub is now like $7. Two whole ass dollars more than what a $5 Footlong used to be. Footlongs are now $12!

 

Couponnnsss dude. I usually get two footlongs for $13. I can’t remember the last time i paid full price

 

When it comes to beverages that perform a function like coffee or alcohol, buzz > taste. I mean flavor is a bonus, but it needs to do it's job first. I have a very practical mindset.

That being said it's impossible for me to comprehend wine culture. Like you're drinking booze to not get fucked up? At least craft beer part of it is higher alcohol % .
