Excited to rewatch the OG Mad Max trilogy. Might check out those 70's Airport movies that Airplane! spoofed. Hilarious that the Affleck Daredevil is on D+ now.

The younger me would love Everybody Wants Some. Now I look at it, and have a different opinion. it's ok. Ill find something new for this month

 

Wait there's only two Die Hard movies though

The third one being the best of the sequels. Jeremy Irons kills it as the villain.

 

I was obsessed with Dazed and Confused as a teen, and seeing that same vibe from Linklater again definitely did something for me.

 

It's a fun movie

 

Everybody Wants Some is immaculate

 

when post-coital Glen Powell remarks “I think the Astros might really win it all this year” I became a Glen Powell mark.

 

I am watching it now. Totally didn't realize Glen Powell and Wyatt Russell were in this the first time I watched this when they were less famous.

 

Just watched The Greatest Hits on Hulu last night. Really enjoyed it, haven't seen any else talk about it really.

 

Just started Invincible season 2, and boy did I need the recap as I didn't remember much about s1, but what a great first episode. The creation of the villain was incredibly well done and a really cool concept. I have a feeling I'm going to love this season. Backwards, but I'll go back and watch the first when done with 2 at some point.

 

Binged Baby Reindeer in a couple sittings and was very impressed by it and not at all what I expected based on some reactions I saw. I really loved his parents.

Started Ripley and I'm hooked after a couple episodes. I'm a mark for Andrew Scott at this point and I also like the performance from Johnny Flynn as Dickie. (I just realized it was Flynn playing him and now I'm going to listen to A Larum.) The black and white looks great but it's also a bit of a shame that we're missing out on the colors inherent to an Italian coastal town.

 

yeah Glen Powell is the McConaughey of this movie, in terms of stealing the movie with his absolute charisma. No shock he became the biggest star of this cast.

 

Talking about this and Edge of Seventeen requires a hearty and true Fuck Blake Jenner

 

Just learning about this. Yeah fuck that guy.

 

Not trying to halt conversation, I just think there’s a special place in hell for that dude

Oh Sideways is on Hulu now. One of the Alexander Payne joints I have never seen. Gotta scratch that off my list.

 

My phone broke so I wasn't able to provide my riveting updates on band of brothers. I did recognize Tom hardy and Colin hanks. Was easier that we met them separately a bit and not directly in the battlefield or anything

Everybody Wants Some!! is a masterpiece. Endlessly rewatchable just like Dazed
