Honestly, the whole card is a fever dream for anyone who went into a coma about 3 years ago. Copeland v Buddy or Brodie, Claudio and Joe being in AEW, Swerve somehow being their champion instead of NA Champ in NXT, etc

 

all 5 matches stand to be fun tv matches, too. i expect Cage/Castagnoli to be a sprint

 

on collision, schiavone was plugging the card for dynamite and said we've got copeland facing off against matthews and then at the end of the show said we've got copeland facing off against a member of HoB!!! stay tuned!! lol

 

i remember listening to the E&C pod back before Edge got cleared, and he rattled off all these guys he would work with if he ever got his second crack at it. specifically guys like FTR when they were The Mechanics and Aleister Black. he would always fantasy book himself into an NXT run. then he came back, had a lot of prolonged feuds rather than dream matches, and largely with established opponents.

i try not to subscribe to "fed bad", but his body of work is going to be night and day when he retires now vs if he called it against Sheamus last August. same for Danielson, Christian, Sting. it's only adding a few years to their careers, but it is like doubling the number of people they have worked with.

 

And thats just Dynamite; I imagine we'll get 3 more matches for Rampage after

 

that rocks but unfortunately the shirt is bad

I like the idea of someone going back to 1998 and instead of stopping 9/11, exposing Epstein/Weinstein/ect, or shmashmashinating Shonald Shrump they try to get Eric Bischoff to utilize Bret Hart in the correct way lol
