Interesting tidbit on the AMA - she toured because DCFC/TPS came in with the offer for opening on the few tour dates so she toured without expectation of an album coming soon.

Finally listened to "Change Shapes." It's good! I've liked each song a bit less than the one before it, but I'm not disappointed with any of them. This is a fun, different kinda track from her.

The most boring type of discussion is a back-and-forth “yes it is” “no it isn’t,” lol.

But for the record, I’m personally team “yes it is,” and it’s not even close. And I really dug much of what came before! But the highs and the cohesiveness on Screen Violence are just something else. Just such a culmination of everything they’d done before that one.

I respect your opinion, but im curious to what you think is better and why? I feel like Screen Violence is Chvrches at their very best. Everything from the lyrics to the beats to even the artwork is such a cohesive statement that works perfectly to nail the horror movie vibe they were going for.

screen violence is great, but for me personally it didn't hold me attention for as long as love is dead did, that album is fantastic!

Every Open Eye absolutely, Screen Violence is good but it's also the band at their safest.

You must fix your heart Supporter

I think Screen Violence just edges out Every Open Eye for me. Its more consistent and the horror theme elevates it. Both wonderful.
