I also had no idea Trevor was from Cleveland. Was last night just a one-off for him, or is he fully rejoining?

The band didn't mention it was his first night on the tour - they didn't bring it up at all.

The band sounded so good last night. Better than when I saw them headline last year (despite me really preferring that setlist to last night's). You could definitely tell last Spring was a tune-up show for them and last night, they sounded so tight and clean.

That was also my first show at The Roxy. Love seeing shows at Mahalls, but The Roxy is sooooo nice.

 

Anyone want two tickets to the Spanish Love Songs show in Philly this Saturday? PM me. I can transfer the tickets. Maybe in return you can grab and mail me a shirt. That way we are both supporting the band. Hate to see them go to waste.

Great show in DC last night. Played 2 off Schmaltz, and crowd got along to both records. Felt like the crowd for the Hot Mulligan opener had a bit more energy than this one, but they filled out the room well

 

I think people were into the two Schmaltz songs in Philadelphia, but the Brave Faces Everyone songs and the singles from No Joy basically all got a better response (with that said, the crowd was into everything). "Buffalo Buffalo" should probably stay, but I'd rather hear something like "The Boy Considers His Haircut," "El Niño Considers His Failures," or "It's Not Interesting" instead of "Beer & Nyquil (Hold It Together)."

Beer & NyQuil is my fav off Schmaltz

 

Definitely have others I like off Schmaltz more but crowd went wild for Beer & NyQuil

 

Happy to get anything from Schmaltz, but "Buffalo" is probably my least favorite on the album. "Beer and NyQuil" got a great response in Chicago too.
