so far this is a pretty great balance of happier than ever era Billie and her poppiest, most upbeat stuff.

Premature Evaluation: Billie Eilish Hit Me Hard And Soft

 

there’s a mix of familiar and some very new territory. I was shocked how kind of bright and poppy “birds of a feather” is. Almost every song throws a curveball at you at some point.

 

Considering this reviewer didn't love Happier Than Ever either, I'm not too worried about this one. That record is still great. Everything else I'm seeing so far is calling it her most personal and innovative record yet

 

Very breezy but enjoyable album. L'AMOUR DE MA VIE was the standout for me on first listen, but there's a lot to love. The way she sings on some of these tracks feels like totally new ground for her, sounds much older. Finneas doing some wild shit in a few places too. Cool album
