That was probably as close to solid as a 3hr wrestling show could be....and it still had way too many squashes and stuff carrying it (10min opening promo, parking lot match) that otherwise you cant do weekly.

2hr wrestling show reigns supreme.

 

What channel did put Collision on this week? I just assume Hulu will record it but it’s been wonky lately.

 

It was TNT after the NBA game… The international feed started at 8:15, I think it might’ve gone proper live at 8:20 ET. Which was hilarious because Tony came out to address the crowd basically fine… And then Swerve had to cut that promo right after.

I used to love the vlogs he did like this on his own on the indies. Kind of feel bad for the people who weren't into indie wrestling pre-2014 who didn't get experience how funny pre-WWE Kevin Steen was online. Almost all of his old posts and vlogs have been erased and he has toned down his actual personality a lot. Truly one of the greatest wrestler posters of our time. I wish they would let him be like that again.

 

Yup idc what promotion you are 3 hours just doesn’t work, you also get very restless if you attend a 3 hour show

So today was the first day without cable (I only do YouTube TV for the fall for football and renew for 2 months in spring for mania/March madness...but it's like $80/mo so fuck that in the summer and jan/feb)...

Anyway. The last weekly wrestling ill watch for a while was fridays draft and....nah... the weekly program still kinda sucks. It's not terrible like in the past, but the draft is so fucking stupid, it's done poorly, and I'm not a big fan of brand splits because they don't committ anyways. Back to just catching the ppvs for a while (or stream if something wacky happens)

 

Honestly I usually just watch ppvs now for both shows. Watching weekly is it for me like it use to be. Plus it’s very easy to follow because it’s so accessible on YouTube

AEW weekly on Fite (via VPN) is like $8-9/mth (and gives discounts on the PPVs)

 

i am glad Matt Hardy is just doing a 6 man on Friday, that card looks fun and Something v Hammerstone is exactly the kind of match i want from TNA

 

I know there's a few Michigan people in here. Clash is doing a joint show with Alpha-1 in June that has a pretty solid lineup. Plus cheap tickets. Front row was only $40.
