Have you listened to this band before? Just curious because if the music isn't your thing, I still think you'll really appreciate the production on this one and True Love.

This is good and will mostly likely will be great with repeat listens. Definitely felt the length towards the end but hopefully I won’t after a few more spins. Makes me went to sip on a cold beer on a porch on a chill summer night.

 

Yeah I’m on listen 4-5 and it gets better each time. A lot of their stuff is like that. Can’t wait to drink beer and grill to this bad boy. Porch album for sure

Just finished this album and like it a lot. I don’t know if it justifies its long runtime though. I’ve noticed over the years that if an album is on the longer side, I don’t tend to return to it as much unless it’s a goddamn masterpiece. I know I could cut out songs or split it into two different playlists, but I’m too lazy to do that most of the time.

 

I want the lyrics to this bad

 

"Give It Up" is the only song I'd cut here. With that gone, it's hardly even a double-album, at least in length

 

That song was one of the standouts for me *feels attacked*

 

I'm glad! That's usually the sign of a good record, lol

 

Really liking this. As everyone has mentioned, pure summer porch music.

this is the exception to all those overly long albums coming out lately because I just started right over from the top when it was over

 

The number of tracks makes it look deceptively long but it’s only 53 minutes, really not bad at all

 

Yeah, a lot of the songs are under three minutes and I think that's a smart move, kind of forces you to listen again instead of giving you too much

 

short songs with a long track list and long songs with a short track list are my two favorite genres

 

As optimistic as I want to be about the overall timestamp like y’all are, I feel the length on every listen hah

 

There's something so pure and earnest about this band. Two best friends hanging out, having a great time and writing warm and intimate music, full of heart and delicate touches. Such a delight. The intimacy on record transfers effortlessly live. I can't wait to see them again next month.
