They really don’t have to do this. Cancel the spin off too. And cancel the eventual Universal Monsters Avengers movie they already have planned

  4. Everyone thinking they can pull a Disney/Marvel/Star Wars with expanded universe crap and make the big bucks. No one wants that anymore. Heck, I love superhero stuff and even I'm growing Marvel fatigued

Just finished Scream 3. Definitely felt like it lost its luster a bit considering Sid was barely a main character for most of it

Yeah weird choice to jump into the connected universe shit when those franchises aren’t doing so great right now.

  7. You may or may not look back on it with rose-colored lenses once you get to 4, 5, and 6. I like those movies too, but 3 is the last one that feels so time and place with that cast to me. It's why I ultimately prefer it to 4 and 6.

  8. So happy to report that Ready or Not still kicks so much ass. Just so fun and funny, nonstop action, perfect casting. Adam Brody? C'mon. I am officially pumped for Abigail tonight.

Its a great movie but I dont see the point of a sequel. What, is Samara Weaving gonna marry into another family that plays fucked up games?

Yep I fucking love Ready or Not, but a sequel does seem absolutely pointless.

  12. Most sequels are just completely unnecessary.

Music Box in Chicago is playing both for some Critic's Choice festival.

In A Violent Nature too but we're seeing Belle and Sebastian that night.

  17. Wish I could make it to either of those, especially I Saw the TV Glow with Jane doing a Q&A.

  18. That's where the creativity comes in. I agree that they need to do something different with the sequel, but I like if not love most of what that team has done, so I trust them to come up with something interesting and fun.

  25. I liked the movie Relic from that director, and Julia Garner is always great, but yeah it's ok to leave old IP alone.
