Wish they had a black t on white lettering variant of the cope shirt I already own more white tee’s than I’d care to own (two saosin and deafheaven) because I don’t like them generally although the two i have are sick

This so good. Bummed that tour isn't coming closer to me.

    not a doctor

When all the feedback and noise just vanishes after getting into the 1st verse of Cope. Insane.

We reach for the longest shadow

After the Scripture was my unofficial closer, I listened to it every time I listened to the record when it first came out.

I will forever love the tie-in of Cope to Flies In All Directions.

This is so awesome. Also captures very well the feeling of "Cope" (the song), live, which gives me a near out-of-body experience.

Yep, "The Mansion" and "The Devil And Whom?" go hand-in-hand. Andy features on the Weatherbox song.

Finally giving this a proper listen, and damn it’s great! They really need to put out more live stuff! I could see this becoming my go to version of the album, same thing with the live version of The Way that they put out last year

I tried playing the studio album right after this version and it’s absolutely wild how flat it feels in comparison. Sometimes when you layer guitars the way they did, everything gets smaller instead of bigger. Having the limitation of just two guitars live makes everything around them feel so much more present. The bass fills jump out at you, the drums are present, and Andy’s voice has a bite that I haven’t really heard from him consistently since METN
