Alvarez made a decent point that while Tony Khan may make a bad onscreen character, Shahid Khan on the otherhand sold the hell of that attack with his facials, looks like an old school 70's heel, and absolutely has the on screen presence his son does not have.

 

Kinda surprised Grimes was so happy there. Probably mostly wrestled in dark matches and just got squashed by Bron. But yeah that's pretty fucked that he was lied to

Oh fuck oh fuck this hadn't even occurred to me. Go with the Kenny as temporary GM in a non wrestling role leading the charge against The Elite angle please. This would rule.

 

A lot people in the comments saying Sting and Danielson could also work. Ehh i like Sting but I don't want to hear his promos weekly as part of the company's biggest angle

 

Sting makes sense given his whole character but they should keep him away for now, it's only been a month or two. history indicates Bryan wouldn't want that role in a billion years imo

 

Kennys the perfect dude. Give him the Nick Aldis role...can command any wrestlers attention because the threat of "I'll find you an opponent that will fuck you up" is real...yet, he can basically be Mick Foley in terms of being a face GM overall.

He's also great at being funny, while mainly being serious. And honestly, as injured as he's been, and as stacked as the roster is, rest him a year and see if he can get right again. Thats how Danielson/Edge/Christian all did it...take a year+ off, do the treatment, extend the timeline

Honestly, it may all just be pure luck...but the timing of the last month is gold. And it all relied on CM Punk being CM Punk...if he doesnt do that Helwani interview....can they drop the footage + have Jack in chicago + have this draft angle?

edit: Also, if he wasnt so fucking toxic, the "Tree of Learning" jericho stuff would be perfect for Jack to build and turn on him say way MJF did.

Christ the numbers for last night’s Dynamite are so bad

 

To pull those TV ratings after a PPV and only filling half the venue is disheartening

 

This is so great.

 

It was live on the west coast (normally airs at 8 PST) which probably hurt the ratings quite a bit. A lot of people aren’t even home from work by 5PM. Also going up against NHL/NBA playoffs. Very tough week.
