Plus the song literally says "welcome back to Trench"

I agree, I think, pound-for-pound, Blurryface is their best overall album. But I also think "Saturday" might be my favorite song of their's. And I think "Jumpsuit" and Trench are my favorite vibes that I would love for them to explore more of. As such, I freaked when I heard "Overcompensate," and have listened to it like 50 times since it came out lol. No one could ever accuse these guys of not keeping things interesting.

Hope he’s planning an Eras Tour length setlist with these prices

I honestly don't love Overcompensate or Next Semester but they're both catchy as hell and have grown on me.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

I cannot get enough of Next Semester. That chorus is seared into my brain.

Tyler’s vocals in the chorus have me captivated. We’ve never really heard him sing in that tone before.

Also, Saturday is great. It bums me out that it bums him out because this isn’t the first time he’s said something like this about the song.

Yeah, I like that song a lot too. I think the reaction to it was unwarranted. He did something new, did a great job, and then people trashed him for it. Unfair.

Can Paul Meany be involved with this band forever please?

I don't remember there being any backlash to Saturday at all. It's definitely in the lower tier of TOP songs for me, but it's not bad.

Agreed. I don't think Tyler could've picked a better musical mentor.

There's a clip of Tyler in concert basically saying that he wrote it intentionally to be a radio hit, and it didn't end up doing that well. So I'm not sure if backlash is the right way of putting it. I'm sure some fans thought they sold out with it and there's definitely a few who didn't like SAI as a whole.

Saturday is a radio hit in my mind , I don’t care how well it did or didn’t do. It’s a brilliant pop song.

I think Saturday is one of my favorite songs in their catalog. Shame they don't like it. Would love to hear them dive into that pop pocket again.

I have never heard any backlash surrounding Saturday and it was No 1 on the alt chart and No. 10 on the rock charts. It’s one of their more recognized songs, imo. Still hear it all the time.

New song is really good, I really like how the hip-hop elements of the new tracks feel a lot more matured and less "white boy rap"

They debuted The Craving last night. Wonder if that's the next video.
