Had to check past lineups to make sure I didn't say something stupid like maybe NIN comes back this year. It's only been two years, no chance even with the recent updates from Trent.

 

It just dawned on me that, if the timing of the announcement lines up with past years... It's pretty likely that I'll be on vacation in another country for a destination wedding when the line-up drops and tickets go on-sale. Gonna make it stressful if we decide to go and have to book travel while on vacation for another thing. LOL

 

No need to stress about tickets, if they do sell out it would take weeks (unless there is a mega huge name on there)

 

What a year for Op Ivy to headline

 

It's less about the tickets than it is the hotels and flights. You can always find something but I try to jump on it before things sell out and prices go up even higher.

The Beaches announced a tour and some dates are kind of around the festival?! I wouldn’t say a lock by any means but I feel like that kind of raises their chances a smidge.

The Beaches could be a coin flip, the havent played chicago all year, skip it on a just announced fall tour. they have a date on the 21st opening for fletcher in NYC, but they could play early friday and be in NYC by saturday night

 

They could also be on one of the street fests.

 

The Dickies are in Detroit the Thursday before Riot. So I feel they are probably playing.

 

Ahhh, I didn’t see the opening date for Fletcher. That makes it less likely for me.

 

Looks like the street fests are announcing soon, the crossed out date on this poster for Hello Mary is Wicker Park Fest, so we should be able to cross off a few more acts from playing this year.
