The Watchers was pushed up a week to June 7th, which was also its original release date before it was pushed back

 

Finished the book today and I am glad to report that the trailer doesn't give too much away. Maybe it's knowing that this is a Shyamalan-related joint, I couldn't help but think of Signs when I was reading.

 

HAD to see Abigail again, so much fun.

Local movie club ended up voting for But I'm a Cheerleader and I loved it. Not in any way horror but so much fun. Casting RuPaul as one of the conversion camp staff was a stroke of genius. Also, so many familiar faces popped up in this!

They are doing away with voting and just mandated Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans next month haha.

 

3 was a letdown for me, but 4 is arguably the best and the two successive, most recent ones are a lot of fun as well.

This 80s Italian horror movie popped up on my radar this morning and now I think I need to find it.

 

Not horror, but everyone should watch Ratz, the movie where two teens use magic to turn rats into dreamboats to take them to a dance.

it’s a full fever dream movie and should be a so bad it’s good cult classic but it only has like 100 reviews on letterboxd.

Totally just speculation on my part, but I'm starting to think Longlegs will have something to do with human puppeteering or turning a human body into a puppet somehow, just based on Cage's character being described as an "androgynous Geppetto" and that new teaser saying "What good is that body if not for hiding shiny red parts?". Definitely unnerving if true, I've only ever seen that premise in, like, Dead Silence lmao

 

I definitely remember seeing 4 but many years ago so definitely plan to do that one and 5. I don’t have access to 6 yet it appears.

Seems like 3 and 4 are very divisive from what I can gather
