Legit no idea what they are doing here. This is "after getting cooked by MJF" in the 5th labor, inexplicably having a PPV match that puts Jericho over levels of stupid. That shit was the starting point of MJF melting down (it weakened him heading into his CM Punk feud and meant he lost 3 straight feuds by the time Wardlow squashed him)

On one hand, yes give Jericho a belt I don’t care about but I also know it’s getting 20 minutes of tv time minimum now.

 

Would be sick if it meant Hook was NXT bound - Paul will know how to book him

 

I know he back was f'd when she finally went out, and Tony listed her amount those "injured" at the Worlds End presser. But, kinda feels like she's now in the "we dont have a big moment for her quite yet" situation

SRS said a few times that she is dealing with something that is undisclosed for a good reason and that she is overcoming some very big issues. Take it for what it is.

 

She did until the end of last year, basically. She'd take patients Fri-Tues. But with there being two shows and the last second nature of AEW, she stopped taking new patients to focus on wrestling

Part of the thing with Jericho is that his style just didn’t age well with him. Like someone like a Hogan or a big guy can do a couple power moves and be alright. Someone like Taker. Someone that was more of a technical wrestler can be alright too. But Jericho does this somewhat athletic stuff that he was never really all that athletic to do in the first place so it just looks terrible at his age. That being said I haven’t seen him wrestle since like a random teaming with Sammy a few months back

 

I hate Chris Jericho.

I keep forgetting how good Toni is in the ring because of her goofy gimmick.

I hope they bring in Megan Bayne to challenge whoever the TBS champ is coming out of DON.

 

His "Painmaker" stuff basically worked because it was him working No DQ matches and using tables/bats/cheating instead of doing his high flying stuff....him returning to Lionheart is absurd, because he could barely pull that shit off in 2016 or whatever his last big WWE return was.

Thunder's also really good in the ring, even if her character doesnt fully add up.

But, if Toni ever returns to a more classic character, she's like top 3 in the world in terms of versatility and pacing

I'm conflicted. Part of me wants Toni Storm to drop the timeless bit and then the rest of me hope it stays forever.

 

That match ruled. This show is about to get great. What a last 3 match run we have ahead of us.
