I want Team Sleep so bad

I don’t think it will be tough to grab online tomorrow. Plenty of retailers to check. I’ll be trying for this one too.

 

It'll probably be worth checking the Darkside Records site at 8am EDT tomorrow. I got the sense that they had a bunch.

I hope so! I’ve been very close to just biting the bullet on one of the many copies up on ebay but I figured I might as well wait and see what’s available tomorrow first.

 

With just over 5,000 copies pressed, if we can’t grab a copy that would be ridiculous.

 

Just got into rough trade, guy at the door said they sold out of death cab immediately. But then I found a single copy misplaced in the store. Score!
Also got the last copy of the Blur Parklife zoetrope

 

I went into a clothing store and got a record, then I went to a record store and got a handful of blurays, hashtag record store day haul

No Thank You by Little Simz (and all three Chris Pine Star Treks and the first two Reboot of the Planet of the Apes in case you were wondering)

 

I agree but also feel like scalpers are worse and more plentiful than ever so I also have anxiety about it at the same time lol.

 

Yeah there was 5 copies at my shop and I was refreshing their site since stock was updating in real time. I was the first one to grab a copy. It was still in stock most of the afternoon. It's gone now though.

But I'm sure it'll be a not so difficult find. I'll post links if I see it tomorrow morning! @nohandstoholdonto

 

Picked up Team Sleep for a friend and grabbed Paramore remix and SDRE Diary on a whim. Paid $128, I'm done with this hobby. This is some bullshit.

 

Hoping to score Filter on one of the many sites tomorrow morning, if anyone knows of any that will for sure have it, a heads up would be appreciated!

 

I got At the Gates, too.

 

Scored everything I was looking for except HIM. I got Sleater Kinney, The Pixies, Spawn, and Malfunction. There were items that I was interested in like Team Sleep, but couldnt justify a $50 price tag. Absolutely love Chino and all things Deftones and Crosses, but to own Team Sleep on vinyl for $50 didnt seem worth it. Same for Pearl Jams new album. A band Ive really liked for over three decades, but no. So happy I have an OG pressing of At The Drive In In Casino Out cause that would have been #1 on my wants list and my store was sold out within half hour.

Seriously though, these vinyl prices are just astonishing. It shouldn't feel like a deal when you score an LP for less than $30. For god sakes that HIM die cut 2 song vinyl was $30 retail. $30 for 2 songs!

 

I wanted HIM too but I’d rather put that 30 towards one of their full lengths I don’t have.

 

I Was in north Hampton ma today on my way to Amherst ma for a spiderwick chronicles event and newbury didn’t have but 4 mins away found a record store called Joe’s albums. I never knew it was there and they had two copies of poppy and one Bebe Rexha so I got what I wanted for rsd so glad I didn’t have to camp out cuz I couldn’t at my local store red scroll records

 

I wonder how many copies of Bebe Rexha were pressed for rsd cuz the website doesn’t say

 

Really cuz I don’t see any listed

 

I was at Joes yesterday morning for RSD! That's my favorite record store in the area

I got Team Sleep, Collective Soul and Filter from Darkside. Pretty easy.

Although I really want Offspring, I can’t bring myself to buy a picture disc.

 

Tried to get Poppy - 'EAT' off Newbury Comics, got it in my cart, had to update the address, and by the time I'd done that it'd sold out. Damn.

 

Whoever mentioned Darkside, thank you! I managed to get a copy of Collective Soul there before they sold out. Seeing the $60-$99+ prices on ebay really concerned me!
