I love end of heartache but I don’t like it for his entrance. The intro is too long and he didn’t seem to tailor his entrance to it. Kinda prefer the dollar store version of it he had in NXT. I also haven’t seen Roddy since the beginning of the Adaaaamm stuff so I don’t know if it’s changed

 

I know its the pre-show, but even by that standard, why is this happening at Dynasty instead of like, main eventing a Rampage? Also, super weird to have Trent and OC matches on the pre-show unless Trent is interfering as well

Like, Matt Sydals last win in AEW on TV (not counting Dark, etc) was on June 26, 2021. He won a few matches around that time to build him up to be more credible in losing to a debuting Andrade....that's how long its been since he's been relevant

 

It will probably bleed into the OC/Shibata vs STP match. At least it has some sort of build and I don’t mind Trent getting a singles push. OC/Trent could be a fun match for DON or a Dynamite main event if they really let them go all out.

Oh, Im 100% fine with Trent getting a push, but, feels like I'd rather it be done on TV with people caring than at like 7:15 before most people have even tuned in

 

Prestige is running a 3000 capacity arena here in July. It’s a crazy step for an indie company to take. They routinely sell 700-800 for their bigger events here so 3000 would be wild. Seems mighty hasty but I hope they pull it off. It would be pretty surprising if they could draw more people here than some AEW shows have been drawing lol
