the Texans think they're being clever by ripping off the Titans in retaliation but what they failed to consider is the Titans suck

 

I still think y'all are just zeroing in on the color scheme and ignoring everything else about the look because the 2 designs give nowhere near similar vibes outside of the colors (which are boring true)

 

Vs the Jags who have some cool colors but god awful designs repeatedly

But hey maybe I'm crazy since it's me and the Texans fan vs the rest of the thread on it and where there's smoke etc etc

 

What annoys me about it the most besides the fact that I keep getting in dumb conversations about it (this thread is at its absolute worst anytime there's discussion having to do with the NFL) is that the hat/helmet are obviously trying to channel an old school the vibe while the uniforms themselves are trying to do the "ultra modern Oregon but bad" thing and the two clash tremendously to me

 

Its always funny to me to see the response to the unis and Cal in the thread but locally Cal's resurgence back into the good graces of fans is something I never expected alot of it is Hannah imo, she saved the franchise

 

The old english H fits what a lot of people wanted, I dont diehard love it but it's grown on me

 

I think I'd like it more if the uniforms made sense with it, thinking about it with the uniforms makes me not like it as an alt helmet

But when I see it as a cap? I love that

True, I need to see the whole uni before I can judge it wholly but then I remember its just an alternate uniform

I think there are plenty of reasons to criticize it but when it comes to "they're just the Titans!!!" I think that's kinda lazy when you think about the general energy the Titans give off in their uniforms and helmet

 

my two cents is that I’m neutral on it (font is cool, negative on the blue being used for the Texans specifically) but enjoy dunking on divisional rivals

 

Dunking on rivals is good I just like the dunking to be proper yanno

I think this alt helmet is MAJOR progress for NFL hats though which often suck and as a hat guy I support it

The weird "wrong color" hats of that H hat are gonna rule
