It’s funny too cause the British people I’ve met think American food is overindulgent and that’s fine but like, fried fish and fried potatoes / sausage and mashed potatoes are literally your two most famous dishes lol. That to me seems like it’s also centered around fatty meats and carbs but with much less international influence and much more boring seasonings lol

 

Florida houses have notoriously poor insulation so that doubles your electric bill easily. Sucks in Jacksonville cause Jax actually has winter too (sort of; with random 75 degree days mixed in) so you also spend a lot heating your house

 

Whomever is on the side of turning the AC on early is the side I’m on as well. Can’t imagine ever allowing my house to be 80 degrees.
