We’re in Tampa. The AC was running non-stop in the summer, even with it set up to around 80 degrees

I had our landlord look at ours and the AC people said it ran fine. Just have no shade on the west side of the house and probably bad insulation

I just got an alert that my solar panels are offline. Not great. Need to figure out what that means....

First couple of months in the house it was around $250, we switched to average monthly for electric and it’s stayed around $160 since. Gas varies on the weather obviously. Waters pretty consistent around $60-$70

lol we were still tight on money and looking at the electric company’s website, switching to average was going to knock like $200 off that months bill. Had to do it!

Get a lot of solar salespeople here. Super annoying.

We have solar panels and it probably mostly evens out in terms of our total cost since we have to pay like 80-90 a month on the panels payment. Getting the heat pump will drive up our electric bills in the winter now, but it'll also mean our gas bill is much lower in the winter now as the gas furnace will only kick in below certain temps.

A house we wanted to look at last year had been on the market for awhile and the price had dropped like $60k or something (I don’t totally remember) over that time. Turned out that whoever bought the house would also have to buy the loan for the solar panels they had on the house. We didn’t even go look.
