Confirmed that pink Godzilla is only temporary so it most likely won’t be in the next film and that it was inspired by Kaiokin from DBZ

 

Now we need Godzilla doing a Kamehameha.

This was actually kinda good, the actors were nothing great but for being a CGI mega fight movie it looked good and was entertaining.

My 4 year old has seem parts of Godzilla v Kong and KOTM when I’ve had them on tv, well this morning he was making up stories about Smaug with his mom and he brought up Godzilla and that turned into him watching Godzilla v Kong this morning lol.

he keeps calling him “dogzilla” because of the book, and also called Mechagodzilla “Truck-o-Matic”, which we have no idea where that came from lmao

I was extremely skeptical about this and had a really good time. It's obviously the least serious of the Monsterverse movies yet and I think dropping that expectation (especially in the wake of Minus One) did them a lot of favors. The fights are fun (Egypt in particular), most of the characters don't matter (and I didn't find them annoying), I think most of the crystal/prism/temple stuff looks beautiful (even though Hollow Earth still looks like a video game), and I actually enjoyed the music. Just a fun time at the movies. The goofiness reminded me of some Showa-era stuff.
