This is not the proper use for this thread, but anyone in here from/know much about Madison Wisconsin? Trying to book a show out there this summer and looking got guidance, but there’s not a Madison thread that I could find.

Says they’re allowing website embeds now, but I think that’s for embedding them into websites, not posting them on message boards

 

That article is behind a paywall, but I would guess the “channels” will be part of every Disney plus package and will target those of us that feel overwhelmed by the amount of content to choose from, browse for 30 minutes, and eventually just give up and do the social media stuff on our phone. We’ve gotten so comfortable with our content being curated by algorithms on tiktok, YouTube, and Instagram.

My initial thought was it’s going to be similar to how Pluto TV has channels. While you can watch a ton of stuff on demand, they have channels to sift through and I tend to watch it that way as opposed to looking up a movie or show to watch on demand from the beginning.

 

we're spoiled for choice. people wanna be told what to watch instead of scrolling across 10 different apps for an hour. its just funny that the solution to this is cable.
