I only got COVID once, and it suuuucckkkkeddd. I also wasn't super militant about masking after rates started decreasing, so maybe I got it other times and I just thought it was allergies or a cold?

 

after first getting vaccinated and then actually for sure getting covid in october 2021 I basically gave up masking, unfortunatley

 

I think I just had Covid once? Idk my brain bad.

 

I was simply Built Different™ and never got covid

 

I still wore a mask when I was asked to, but I didn't really choose to wear one after a while. I know people who still wear masks whenever they are in public, and I know it's their call to make choices over their body, but I can't shake the feeling that is feels like virtue signaling to me.

Oregon still had a mask mandate until March of 2022 while back home in Florida it went away officially in like May 2021 but people stopped way before of course lol

 

I would give up my body for science to prove it

 

There’s an alarmingly large demographic of POC who do believe COVID is real and recognize that it kills a higher ratio of POC but also don’t trust this country’s healthcare

I know a lot of white people who would angrily judge these folks and I personally think vaccines are safe / a different thing, but it is understandable when you think about how the government has historically used African Americans as Guinea pigs without their knowledge (Tuskegee experiment for example)

 

I believe in science but also have a distrust of the US government
