Very excited for all this

 

Hell yeah, Din Tai Fung. It's going to be impossible to get in there.

 

DTF was announced a while back but cool to see it finally has a confirmed opening date.

I’m just hoping this means reservations at the South Coast Plaza location might be easier. I can never get reservations there and usually have to go to the one in Del Amo Fashion Center.

They’re also opening one in the Brea Mall too which will be great

 

Grad Bash tomorrow will be the first time I have been to Universal in about a year. I need to try the new Minion shooter but after that I plan to eat a lot of pretzels and pass out in the chaperone lounge.

 

Bets on how many kids you're going to catch trying to sneak in vodka?

 

The vapes are the bigger problem. We usually bring in police K-9's and the kids coming back to school for the bus immediately turn around and go put the stuff back in their car.

They don't sell alcohol during Grad Bash but one time we had a regular field trip to Animal Kingdom during the day and I wondered what would happen if I had a taste.

My wife and I went there a few years ago and it really is quite gorgeous. Phantom manor was down for extended refurbishment which was heartbreaking, but I loved that park so much

I thought the minion shooter was cool but it seems way too laggy. It was hard to know where I was shooting at all sometimes. I hope they can fix that.

 

I guess I never really considered what people not in California do for Grad Night (or Grad Bash as I've just learned it's called in Florida).

Since Disneyland isn't an option, what did y'all do? Or is Grad Night just not a thing elsewhere?

 

we are praying we can kinda hit all the big rides on Wednesday at Disneyland and maybe just park hopper over to California adventure the goat

the wait times looked great for last Wednesday

 

I didn't go to mine, but the only thing I remember about It they had a musical performer every year and Snow Patrol was one that played mine.

My high school senior class trip went to dave & busters

I didn’t go but they did

 

Mine was at universal orlando in 2012. dj khaled with ace hood opened and pitbull headlined haha.

I always was super jealous that the grad bash of 2007 was my chemical romance and 2009 got katy perry. Pitbull pretty much played every single one while I was in high school :/

All the high schools in Southern California take their senior class to Disneyland overnight near the end of the year.

 

Florida too

Some middle schools do it here too. I went on a school trip to Epcot in 6th grade. We were supposed to go to DAK in 8th grade but they dropped it my year and we went to a park in Safety Harbor instead and had a class picnic.
