I had no idea Maggie is big enough for arenas. Her last club show here (5,000 capacity) did sell out instantly so maybe I shouldn’t be too surprised, but I thought she would be playing outdoor sheds or one tier down arenas. Regardless, good for her!

Yeah looks like it's the minor sheds/second-tier arenas for the B markets and majors for the A markets. I imagine she'll add a second night in NYC since, given the likes of Wallows and Cigarettes After Sex can fill MSG, I imagine she can do 2 nights.

If Maggie is doing arenas (at least in major markets) then we will definitely be seeing Phoebe Bridgers in arenas next time she tours, and maybe even Japanese Breakfast.

Honestly, Phoebe, Lucy and Julian now got that boygenius bump. They’ll all do pretty solid moving forward

Agree on J. Brekkie. She’ll do numbers once she’s back from her hiatus

Phoebe will 100% play arenas and on sale will be nuts.

Fix this shouldn’t say Irving date after msg date

No that's correct, there is an in-person on sale at Irving Plaza for both her show at Irving Plaza AND MSG.

LOVE seeing Maggie do in-person sales for her tour. NIN did this a couple tours ago to help eliminate the bots/scalpers and it helped quite a bit.

I’m old, but I def remember waiting overnight outside of a Movies Plus in 1997 to get tickets to the No Doubt/Vandals/CIV tour with a group of friends. Those camp outs were so much fun hanging out with a bunch of fans.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

I was telling fellow user ComedownMachine the other day that I actually hate Boygenius now just because that’s all my sister wants to listen to in my car and I’m like there isn’t much there so it’s all the same stuff.

    (I still love them)
